Delete your account and data
You can delete your Say It profile and all related data at any time, directly from the app.
From the app
- Open Say It and go to Profile.
- At the bottom of the page tap Delete profile and content.
- Confirm that you understand deletion is permanent and tap Delete permanently.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (nickname, year of birth, country, gender, preferences) and recovery code.
- All your posts and updates, including anonymous ones, with their translations.
- Reactions and support messages you sent, stories you follow, notifications and devices registered for notifications.
- Posts shared on Say It's social pages are removed within a few hours; copies made by others may remain.
Deletion is immediate. Data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days, then it disappears from there too. Anonymous statistics are not linked to you and are not deleted.
If you no longer have the app or the phone
Profiles are anonymous: we don't know who owns them. Install Say It on another phone, choose I already have a profile · Recover it, enter your recovery code and then delete the profile as above. If you no longer have the recovery code the profile can't be reopened: write to kida.mancinimesi@gmail.com describing one or more of your posts (text, approximate date) and we will consider removing the content. We will never ask for your recovery code by email.
