Terms of use
These terms govern the use of the Say It app, provided by Orkida Mancini Mesi, private individual, Italy (kida.mancinimesi@gmail.com). By using the app you accept them, together with the Community rules and the Privacy policy.
1. The service
Say It is a space where adults can share what they feel ("posts"), even anonymously, and receive gestures of closeness: reactions and predefined support messages. There are no free comments or chats. Posts may be translated automatically between Italian and English. The service is free and supported by advertising.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old. Your profile is personal and anonymous: no email or phone number is needed. The recovery code is the only way to restore your profile on another phone: keep it safe and don't share it. If you lose it and your phone, we cannot recover the profile.
3. Your content
- You are responsible for what you post. Don't post data that could identify you or others (full names, contacts, addresses, social media profiles, workplaces).
- Your content remains yours. To run the service you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store it, show it to other users, translate it automatically and adapt its layout, for as long as it is published on Say It.
- Sharing on social media. Only if you authorise it for a single post, you also grant us the right to publish it on Say It's Instagram and Facebook pages, with or without your nickname as you choose, in a Say It branded design. Selection is not guaranteed. You can withdraw permission at any time: we will remove the post within a few hours. Copies, screenshots or reshares made by others may not be removable.
- You can edit a post within 24 hours of publishing and delete it at any time. Posts expire according to the duration you choose.
4. Moderation
Every post, edit and nickname is checked before publication, partly with automatic rules and an artificial intelligence system, partly by a person. A post may be published, published with help resources, put under review or rejected with an invitation to rephrase it. Posts reported by several people are hidden pending review. If we remove your content or restrict your profile we tell you the reason in the app. Details, and how to appeal a decision, are in the Community rules.
5. Prohibited behaviour
In addition to the Community rules, you must not: use the service for illegal purposes; circumvent moderation or technical limits; create profiles automatically or in bulk; collect other users' data; interfere with the app or the server; impersonate Say It or other people.
6. Advertising
The app shows Google AdMob ads, clearly labelled "Ad". Choices about personalised advertising are described in the Privacy policy. We are not responsible for advertised products or services.
7. Suspension and termination
You can delete your profile at any time from the app. We may restrict or close a profile that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, telling you the reason. We may change, suspend or discontinue the service, giving reasonable notice where possible.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is", free of charge. We do our best to keep it working and safe, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free, nor check every user post in advance. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app or from other users' content. This does not affect the rights granted to consumers by law, nor liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. For important changes we will notify you in the app; if you continue to use Say It after the notice, the new terms apply. If you don't accept them you can delete your profile.
10. Governing law
Italian law applies. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence has jurisdiction. Your right to use alternative dispute resolution remains unaffected.
